Authentic style…

Winter is not my favorite season, the darkness, the cold - the shorter days… It all makes it a bit harder for me to motivate myself to do the things I love and get dressed!

A big part of styling for me is authenticity. I don’t always put on my best, sometimes I’m at home in comfortable clothes hibernating, who isn’t?! Style is not about putting on your most expensive pieces and being seen all the time. Sure, thats a lovely part of fashion, moving through the world in clothing you feel confident in always elevates our mood. Style is also about embracing all parts of you, feeling great is possible no matter what type of outfit you’re wearing, as long as you feel like the pieces suit YOU and your energy.

Being open and vulnerable is not easy, I think that’s part of why people typically buy clothes that other people have instead of tuning into what they like for themselves. Get to know how you feel and pay attention to how your mood changes when you wear certain things. Style has nothing to do with trends, anyone can buy what’s on the rack or popular. What I work with clients on is finding a deeper connection with themselves and letting that translate to their clothes.
